, career spans more than 26 years commencing in secure encrypted satellite telecommunications, diplomatic telecommunications, diplomatic intelligence, business intelligence, fund raising, private placement/equity, strategic intelligence, sales & marketing, management consultancy and retained executive search. Mr. Mancano began his professional career as a secure voice analyst and tactical telecom specialist with an Extensive Secure Background Investigation and Top Secret Security Clearance for the U.S. Department of State. Mr. Mancano was responsible for monitoring and assessing the secure voice and data transmissions from all the U.S. Foreign Missions and Embassies in Asia Pacific to it’s corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Mancano an avid golfer since childhood was subsequently recruited whilst residing in Washington, D.C. by Pacific Brokerage, an affiliated subsidiary of Golden Bear International as a Senior Fund Raiser – Asia Pac. He was responsible for the private placement and private equity investments on golf course, residential golf properties and signature golf course communities to the MNC Fortune 500 Corporate Executives. Mr. Mancano’s clients were all gainfully employed by the U.S., European and Asian International Banks and Financial Institutions throughout Asia Pacific.
Michael John Mancano entered the executive search and management consultancy industry working as a Research Analyst during the summers for the founder, matriarch and Managing Director of Mancano And Associates, Mrs. Margaret Ann Mancano. Mrs. Mancano diligently built her retained executive search practice whilst specializing in the power generation, utility and nuclear industry. Michael John Mancano gained extensive research and execution experience on retained search assignments during his summer internships working for Mancano And Associates with his mentor and mother.
Mr. Mancano registered the company Mancano And Associates Pte Ltd (Singapore) in 1989 with the aspirations of expanding the family business into the newly emerging markets of South East Asia. Mr. Mancano established and built his retained practice by cross selling his longstanding and trusted key clients retained search mandates with his Fortune 500 Corporate, International Banking and Financial Institution clientele in Asia Pacific.
Michael John Mancano worked diligently to develop and nurture an enviable retained clientele by following the talent acquisition requirements of his prestigious clients into the newly emerging markets of Asia Pacific, China, India and the Middle East. Recently Mr. Mancano has been instrumental in expanding the company’s financial services and telecommunications practice into India, South Asia and the Middle East with exclusive client referrals.
Mr. Mancano’s Role within Mancano And Associates Pte Ltd
Michael John Mancano is the Business Development Director of Mancano And Associates Pte Ltd; a family owned executive search and strategic intelligence consulting firm. He registered Mancano And Associates Pte Ltd (Singapore) in 1989. Mr. Mancano entered the family search profession working alongside the matriarch and founder Mrs. Margaret Ann Mancano.
Mr. Mancano is a longstanding and respected member of the American Business Council and the American Association in Singapore. Mr. Mancano graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He was an active participant in the Foreign Studies – Junior Year Abroad Program in Florence, Italy where he studied Classical Romance Languages, Renaissance Art, Renaissance Art History, Renaissance Literature, International Economics and International Politics.
Michael John Mancano was also an active participant in the Urban Studies – Inner City Youth Programs whilst attending the School of Social Work at the University of Connecticut. Mr. Mancano also attended Graduate Studies at Georgetown University in the Masters of Science Foreign Service Program and Graduate Studies at American University in the Masters of Science International Business Program.
Mr. Mancano’s Role within AIMS International
In 1998, Mancano And Associates Pte Ltd was solicited and recruited by the founder and Senior Board Member of AIMS International to become an Official Partner through its division AIMS (International) – Singapore covering retained search assignments and cross border initiatives for U.S. and European MNC’s with operations in Singapore and South East Asia. Following seven successful years of trusted service as a longstanding Senior Partner with valued seniority in South East Asia, Mr. Mancano was seconded to expand the group’s coverage over the last 4 years to Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. He was an active and longstanding participant in the AIMS’ Banking/Finance and Telecommunications Practice Group. Mr. Mancano also provided strategic and professional assistance in building the AIMS Brand in Asia Pacific whilst recruiting a Center of Influence Partner for – the AIMS International office in Seoul, Korea.
