Quality Director Europe & Asia

Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of professional cleaning equipment.

Headquarters are based in Denmark, and production facilities are located in Asia, Europe and Americas. The company has sales companies in 43 countries - plus distributors in more than 70 countries.

Now some organizational changes were initiated in which the Quality Director for the Ameri-cas has been promoted Global Quality Director. Our client wants to upgrade their quality fo-cus to a more tactical and strategic level, wherefore we are recruiting a new Quality Director for the European and Asian Product Companies & Supply Chain (EAPC & SC).

Scope:
Organization

The new position will be based in Hungary, close to the largest assembly facility.

The new Quality Director will enter an organization that is already ISO certified and where quality processes, procedures and KPIs are defined. However, a general alignment and quali-ty development lack across the product companies, product lines, regions and cultures. The Quality Director will build on the existing.

Main Tasks:
Conceptualize the overall quality strategy in cooperation with the
Global Quality Director
- Implement a global quality issue system

Challenging the organization, which is still evolving, especially in the field of quality
- Develop and implement a process to ensure customer satisfaction
- Familiarize the management with quality numbers/statistics
- Develop, streamline and implement quality strategy, incl. auditing (internal and ex-ternal), certifications etc. across EAPC & SC.
- Develop and align implementation of a set of quality tools and processes across all EAPC factories.
- Streamline KPIs.
- Set up system to continuously measure and monitor quality performance and costs in all EAPC factories.
- Follow up on documentation procedures.
- Follow up on quality performance on all EAPC factories.
- Refine and further develop current Quality Board structure (incl. market feed-back, reporting etc.).
- Drive 2 Quality Boards (assembly-related).
- Act as sparring partner to local management teams on quality related issues.
- Project management.
- Input to the strategic agenda.
- Drive management reviews and continuously follow up.

Requirements:
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as Quality Director or Quality Manager, preferably experi-ence from production/assembly sites across countries.
- Experience with customer quality issues and setting up systems to prevent them
- Experience with implementing quality assurance systems and processes.
- Quality management systems and experience with quality tools.
- Experience from work with large global projects in international environment.
- Experience with project management of large global teams
- Technical product knowledge.
- Master Black Belt or Black Belt would be preferred
